About J.A.K.S. Snax

Jaks Snax was founded out of the belief that food is medicine. Did you know, cancer is the leading cause of death for dogs? In fact, Fifty percent of dogs over the age of 10 develop cancer at some point in their lives. I have fought this battle with two of my beloved dogs and as a culinary trained chef I was determined to do something to boost their immune systems so I began testing different gluten free, lo carb treats in my kitchen. My dogs loved testing each treat!

Cancer feeds on carbohydrates and sugar. Dogs like humans, need immune system boosters while fighting disease. My treats are gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, lo carb, and most are grain free. I incorporate the natural benefits found in flax seed, coconut oil and fresh vegetables.
